Restore it before you replace it. Commercial surface care since 2004.
MacPro (MAC PRO SAS, part of the Unipro group) has been cleaning and restoring carpet, rugs, upholstery, leather, marble and wood floors for hotels, yachts, managed villas and offices since 2004. The company is based in Saint-Martin-du-Var, north of Nice, and works across the Alpes-Maritimes, the Var, the Bouches-du-Rhône and Monaco. Every quote follows a free technical survey with a test patch.
The quote we compete with is the replacement quote
A stained corridor carpet, a tired wool rug, a lobby armchair with dark armrests: the default call is to rip it all out. In most cases the fibre is sound. What looks like wear is embedded soil and stains that were treated the wrong way.
High-end wool carpet costs €115 to €230 per square metre in France once supplied, the old one lifted and the new one fitted (public price ranges, 2026). On a yacht, replacing carpet or upholstery costs several times that and keeps the boat alongside. Restoration is an operating cost; replacement is capital expenditure. Our quote states in writing what can be saved and what cannot.
Method and process
Carpets are cleaned with a dry compound, not soaked. Plant-based sponges, made by Carpet Cleaner Industries GmbH and distributed in France by Unipro, are worked into the pile with TM 3 and TM 4 counter-rotating brush machines, then vacuumed out. No water seeping into the backing, no stains wicking back up, and the area goes back into service quickly.
Every job starts by identifying the fibre or material. Wool is not treated like nylon, and aniline leather is not treated like pigmented leather. The test patch goes somewhere out of sight and you judge the result before anything else is touched.

Our own product range
MacPro belongs to the Unipro group, which designs and sells cleaning products and machines to professionals (https://groupe-unipro.fr). What we use on site is what your own team can order: Natural, a carpet, rug and textile cleaner with 98.70% ingredients of natural origin; Crystal for encapsulation maintenance; Pro-active for stubborn stains. The group runs a Qualiopi-certified training organisation that trains housekeeping, maintenance and interior crew in day-to-day stain removal.
Service area
MacPro covers the three coastal departments of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and the Principality of Monaco: Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Menton and Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes; Saint-Tropez, Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël and Toulon in the Var; Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and La Ciotat in the Bouches-du-Rhône. In the Paris region, the group operates a branch in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges. Elsewhere, on quotation.
Questions we are often asked
Do rooms or floors need to be taken out of service?
No. MacPro works zone by zone at the hours you set, overnight if needed. Carpets are cleaned with a dry compound rather than hot water extraction, so they are not soaked and go back into service quickly. In a hotel, the schedule follows your occupancy plan.
How is the price set?
Price depends on the surface, the fibre and its condition, so we do not quote blind. The technical survey is free and includes a test on a hidden patch. You then receive a written quote, item by item, which also states what is no longer worth cleaning and should be replaced.
Which areas does MacPro cover?
The Alpes-Maritimes, the Var and the Bouches-du-Rhône in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, plus Monaco, from the company's base in Saint-Martin-du-Var near Nice. The Unipro group also has a branch in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, near Paris. Other locations on quotation.
What is the link between MacPro and Unipro?
Both belong to the same group. Unipro designs and sells cleaning products and machines to professionals and runs a Qualiopi-certified training organisation. MacPro carries out the work on site using those products, such as Natural, Crystal, Pro-active and the dry-cleaning sponges.
